Handlers of Rashida the Black Beauty have announced a plan to rehabilitate the brand of the newest celebrity on the Ghanaian entertainment scene.
Rashida’s entire celebrity has been built on the use of ‘Mala Fakka’ – that initial video and the fame it brought her – but now they are moving away from the baggage of that video and are trying to move her ‘legit’.
His manager, Mr Awesome, has revealed in an interview that the brand of Rashida is now moving away from the Mala Fakka and towards that of a strong, proud, African woman.
“Rashida Black Beauty is now a brand that portrays confidence and pride of being an African with dark skin,” Mr Awesome said.
“Sometimes, good things come out of bad situations, and that’s exactly how Rashida’s journey has begun” he had said earlier, referring to her climb to fame.
“… Already, her fan base extends to Europe and America, because, aside the malafakka part, a lot of people think she possesses something special within her to do better in life.”
To that end, Mr Awesome said, the video for the ‘Mala Fakka’ single has been taken down from her Facebook page.
