Black Stars manager Avram Grant has named his preliminary 26 man squad for the 2017 African Cup of Nations in Gabon.
The tournament commences later this month and the Stars are set for a training camp in the United Arab Emirates – so the coach has named his final squad for that camp.
Grant made the announcement at a press conference held in the capital Monday.
The 2017 Cup of African Nations commences from January 14 and runs till the final on February 5. Ghana is in Group D alongside Egypt, Mali and Uganda.
The squad would be trimmed down to a final 23 man squad to be submitted to CAF before the tournament starts.
