Ghana’s Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection, Nana Oye Lithur has joined the growing number of prominent Ghanaians calling for a presidential pardon for the jailed Montie Fm three—-by also signing a petition calling on the president to make good use of his prerogative power of pardon to set the convicted three free.
Already, Madam Akua Donkor, founder and leader of Ghana Freedom Party has signed the petition—and on Friday, Minster of Education; Professor Jane Naana Opoku Agyeman also signed.
According to Citi Fm, the Deputy Education Minister in charge of tertiary; Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa and the Head of the Presidential Delivery Unit, Valerie Sawyerr have also signed the petition despite the reasonable arguments that any presidential pardon would grossly undermine the judiciary and breed tension.
It can only happen in Ghana
This is stupid. This woman is supposed to be a lawyer?
