The Ghana Broadcasting Corporation has launched its coverage of the upcoming Cup of African Nations (CAN) 2017, which would be broadcast live on all its platforms next year.
The Black Stars begin their quest for a long awaited fifth Afcon trophy in Gabon, and the national broadcaster have revealed it would carry all of the tournament’s 32 games live.
The tournament kicks off on January 14 and runs till February 5, with Ghana in Group D alongside Egypt, Mali and Uganda.
GTV and GTV Sports+ would telecast the games live, with commentary on radio – english on Uniiq Fm and Ga on Obonu Fm.
Speaking at the event, ace broadcaster Kwabena Yeboah issued an ultimatum to Ghana coach Avram Grant, warning his job would only be safe if the Stars lift the trophy, which would be their first since 1982.
