Actor Kwaku Manu says President-elect Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo would spend eight years in office, as the results of his own personal study has shown him.
Kwaku Manu, speaking on Accra Fm, said the norm in the past few elections have been for a President to be handed eight years, therefore he believes Nana Addo would get the same length in office.
He came to this conclusion via ‘a study’.
“It is a study I have conducted. It’s a Ghanaian thing.” he said.
“Jerry John Rawlings was president for eight years, John Agyekum Kufuor was president for eight years, President John Mahama was vice president and together with the late President John Atta Mills did eight years. So how many years do you think Nana Akufo-Addo will govern as president?” he asked, then answered, his own question.
“He (Akufo-Addo) will do eight years and leave like the others.”
