"I Won't Neglect Volta Region" – Akufo-Addo

Nana Akufo-Addo has for the umpteenth time guaranteed the people of the Volta Region that they won’t be forgotten under his administration.
According to him, though the region is a pro NDC zone, they contributed immensely to his win in the just ended general polls so their support and faithfulness would be duly rewarded.
Speaking at a ceremony in Ho to honour Togbe Afede XIV, Agbogbomefia of the Asogli State, he said:
“I want to thank the Chief’s and people of this region for your support and help during the election. I am particularly pleased that the votes of my party in this region has appreciated and we now have a parliamentary seat. This is certainly unprecedented.”
