The Ghana Football Association (GFA) and the Professional League Board (PLB) drew the  2015/2016 Ghana Premier League season to a close Friday night as the Ghana Premier League Awards were held.
The annual event came off at the Banquet Hall of the State House in Accra.
2015/2016 Premier League Champions Wa All Stars swept the awards, picking up as many as three awards. Liberty Professionals’ Latif Blessing picked up the Goal King Award for being top scorer, as well the night’s top honour, player of the season.

Best Assistant Referee – Haruna Bawa
Best Referee – Awal Mohammed
Match Commissioner of the Year – Augustine Asante
Fair Play Award – Berekum Chelsea
Most Promising Player – Abdul-Halik Hudu (Inter Allies)
Goalkeeper of the Season – Richard Ofori (Wa All Stars)
CEO of the Season – Samuel Oduro Nyarko (Wa All Stars)
Defender of the Season – Inusah Musa (Hearts of Oak)
Player of the Season – Latif Blessing (Liberty Professionals)
Goal King – Latif Blessing
Coach of the Season – Enos Adipah (Wa All Stars)
Special Award – Welbeck Yaw Abra- Appiah (Former PLB Chairman)
