The President-elect of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo, earlier today held a meeting with the European Union delegation in Ghana after his landslide election win a week ago.
Nana Akuffo-Addo, along with his running mate Dr Mahamudu Bawumia and other top brass of the party, met the EU delegation in the country, accompanied by the UK High Commissioner to Ghana, Jon Benjamin.
The EU delegation, led by the EU Ambassador to Ghana, William Hannah, congratulated Nana Addo on his win and discussed issues of interest to both parties.
Nana Akuffo-Addo won the December 7 elections by a comfortable ten point margin, defeating incumbent John Dramani Mahama of the NDC. He ascends to office on January 7, 2016.
