Kanye West has broken an almost two month silence on Twitter following his meeting with US President-Elect Donald Trump.
The rapper met with Donald Trump earlier today at Trump Tower in New York City. The two had a private discussion before briefly posing in front of the media with Trump saying that the two had been friends for a “long time”.
The meeting caused headlines around the world and now Kanye has addressed the meeting using his Twitter feed.
He began his series of Tweets saying that he wanted to meet the President-Elect “to discuss multicultural issues.” Kanye went on to say that “I feel it is important to have a direct line of communication with our future President if we truly want change.”
He seems to have ended his chain of Tweets by Tweeting “#2024” which is sure to raise eyebrows as a US Presidential election will take place in that year.
