Actress/director Leila Djansi has sounded a note of caution to Ghana’s President-elect, Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo that his administration would be held to task by the people of Ghana if he disappoints us like the government he is replacing.
Leila railed against the NDC government constantly whilst they were in office for the hardships they foisted on Ghanaians, and argued that handing Mahama four more years would turn Ghana into ‘hell’.
But with Akuffo-Addo having won the election and getting ready to ascend into office, Leila has called on him to reverse the decline under Mahama and get Ghana back on track.
She also cautioned him to fulfill his promises or be held equally accountable.
Read her message below….
God bless our homeland Ghana.
And help us to resist oppressors rule
With all our will and might forever more!”
Middle class Ghana, thank you for speaking with your vote.
John Mahama led NDC took us for granted. Looting and stealing in the name of infrastructure when we have no jobs and no enabling environment for our business to thrive and no money in our pockets! Sharing our taxes with cronies and party supporters and sham businesses.
Welcome, your excellency president elect Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo. Remember, we shall hold you accountable and responsible. Help us help you build a strong and viable Ghana.
To all my “public figure” colleagues who stood by and watched. You have a voice and a platform not only to make money and fame but to help build the nation. Next time, don’t be complacent in an act of self presavation. It’s selfish. Who then takes the necessary fall?
Volta Region, I saw your numbers and how you voted. Ko mia wodeee enu metia mi wa? (Don’t you get tired?). It’s no longer about JJ Rawlings, your son and party colors. It’s about your future and that of your children and their children. My firm message to you all, we shall support the incoming government to help us grow.
It’s a new dawn! God bless our homeland Ghana!
Nana aba!!!!!!!!!!”.
