GhOne TV’s seasoned broadcaster Kafui Dey is in for some embarrassment as a video of him surfacing online shows him nodding off during the station’s live coverage of the 2016 election results.
Kafui was in the studio taking figures from a reporter in the field when his heavy eyes betrayed him as he dozed off a few times, desperately trying to stay awake.
The delay from the Electoral Commission in releasing certified collated results on the election has forced the local stations into near nonstop coverage of the results as they trickle in, leading to some all night sessions of coverage as well.
