"We Needed Change Not An Interchange" – Kasoa Constituents, The NPP's Won With An Impressive Gap

The people of Kasoa have added their voices to the many others singing the tunes of change—following the provisional results from Awutu Senya East Constituency in the Central region.
Even  President John Dramani Mahama, commissioning the first phase of the Kasoa interchange as a major infrastructure development in the constituency could not garner any more votes for the ruling NDC.
While Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo won by 33,823 votes representing 56.93 percent, President Mahama garnered 25,153 representing 42.33 percent.
The incumbent Member of Parliament, Hawa Koomson who doubles as the Parliamentary Candidate on the ticket of the NPP also retained her seat with an impressive gap.
