Fresh off his bitter divorce from actress Amber Heard, the Pirates of the Caribbean star has topped the annual Forbes poll, thanks to the lacklustre returns from his most recent releases, including the blockbuster Alice Through the Looking Glass.
It’s bad news for Depp, who also topped the 2015 countdown after starring in film flops like Transcendence and Mortdecai according to report.
The Forbes top five is rounded out by comedian Will Ferrell at four and George Clooney at five with Will Smith claiming the second slot and Channing Tatum the third slot.
