Tom Hardy will be adding to his tattoo collection with an inking designed by Leonardo DiCaprio after losing a bet.
The 39-year-old actor earned an Oscar nomination for his role in The Revenant, in which he co-starred with Leonardo.
His recognition by the Academy Awards was predicted by Leonardo, who bet Tom that he would get a nomination – with the loser having to get an etching of the other’s design.
While Tom didn’t take home the Best Supporting Actor statuette, losing out to Mark Rylance for Bridge of Spies, he now has to hold up his end of the bargain – although he has asked Leonardo to make a slight adjustment to his inking.
“I haven’t got it yet, because it sucks…” he told Britain’s Esquire magazine. “He wrote, in this really sh**ty handwriting, ‘Leo knows everything.’ Ha! I was like, ‘OK, I’ll get it done, but you have to write it properly’.”
