"Baby Luna Is The Light In The Darkness"- John Legend Gushes Over His Daughter

John Legend and his wife Chrissy Teigen named their daughter Luna because she will always be the “light in the darkness”.
The couple welcomed its first child in April (16) after model and TV personality Chrissy underwent in vitro fertilisation (IVF) treatment to fall pregnant, and the stars have been revelling in life as new parents since their baby’s arrival.
“The theme of Darkness and Light is – it’s that idea that there is trouble in the world, there is darkness, there is uncertainty, but we have light. We have love in our lives that we can hold on to,” he explained to The Associated Press. “We named our daughter Luna, which literally is the moon, the light in the darkness.”
Darkness and Light features one particularly meaningful song dedicated to the seven-month-old, a track called Right by You (For Luna), and John admits he broke down in tears when he first shared the finished tune with his family.
“When I played it for her and Chrissy for the first time, I just started crying because it felt so real to me and felt so appropriate for how I feel as a new father,” he shared.
