Rumours had it Katy Perry and Orlando bloom had split up after a whirlwind romance, apparently they turned out to be false.

It seems the couple might have some very exciting news to share as the 32-year-old songstress showed off a massive yellow diamond on her ring finger.

The duo, who have been dating around 10 months, were spotted beaming from ear-to-ear as they enjoyed a date night at the Polo Bar in New York.

Mail online reports that it was difficult to miss the huge oval rock on Katy’s left hand which she held out in front for all to see.

The massive canary yellow diamond certainly looked significant trimmed with smaller white diamonds.
