Majid Michel has in the past few months entered deep into the claws of religion, supposedly now a pastor, reflecting in his increasingly religion themed posts on social media.
Majid, who has noted since becoming a preacher that those criticising him are doing so because of Christ, has penned another post on religion, this time dealing with the credibility of the bible and how to get an atheist to convert.
We are calling this one – Pastor Majid Michel’s FOOLproof guide to converting an atheist.
According to the newly minted preacher, the way to convert a stubborn atheist is not to debate them on science and stuff (because he knows he’ll lose) – but to rather get them interested in scripture and let them read it.
“One of the best things you can do when you meet an atheist is not to argue with them about Aristotle’s laws of motion and various arguments for God’s existence because they’ve heard them over and over and they have their response however inadequate it might be.” he wrote.
“What You need to do is to get them into the WORD. it’s to give them what we call the 21 day experiment. Tell them i want you to read the gospel of John and i want you to do it one chapter a day.
“There are 21 chapters in the gospel of John and answer this simple question … who did John think that Jesus was? Even if you don’t think anything about him. The exposure to the word of God is able to convict the soul. it is able to bring light to the soul it is able to bring conversion to the soul”
So as a real life atheist, let me tell this clown how you can actually get us to change our minds – present evidence. That’s all. The bible is not evidence, it’s simply a book of tales from a time long past. Besides, the bible is the only proof we have that the bible is true – that’s something called circular logic and it’s not very popular with atheists.
Asking an atheist to read the bible is like asking them to read a work of fiction – Pastor Majid needs to come back with something stronger than the 21 day experiment.
