This heartbreaking video of the players of the Brazilian team Chapecoense celebrating their qualification to the final of the Copa Sudamericana just a few days ago, before the plane crash earlier today wiped them all out – would send chills down your spine.
Chapecoense beat San Lorenzo via the away goals rule to qualify for the final of South America’s second highest continental competition, set to meet Atletico Nacional in the final Wednesday.
But the plane carrying the team crashed into the Colombian mountains late Monday, killing everyone but six people. Nearly the entire team was wiped out in the crash.

A video circulating online shows the team celebrating their qualification to the final. Unbeknownst to all of them in their joy, they would be dead just a few days later.
Shows how fleeting life can be, and why we have to savour every moment we have here as if it is our very last – because it could very well be.
