'Leaked' Emails Claim Nana Akuffo-Addo Has Promised Donors To Move Ghana's Capital To The Eastern Region

A group known as Global EyeWitness claims they have intercepted emails belonging to NPP flagbearer Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo, in which he makes numerous promises to donors of the party about what he would do once he comes into office.
According to the group, Nana has promised to move the administrative capital of the country from Accra to the Eastern Region, one of many promises contained therein.
The emails allegedly promise a German firm, one of the NPP’s top donors, a contract to build a new township in the Eastern Region to serve as Ghana’s new capital.
The emails, from the year 2015, also allegedly contain a correspondence in which Akuffo-Addo claims former President Kuffour cannot be trusted.
Global EyeWitness group, in collaboration with Temple and Gun Liberia, have promised to release more emails in the future.
