CNN 'Accidentally' Airs P*rn For 30 Minutes

CNN reportedly aired p*rn on one of their local affiliates for 30 minutes Thursday night.
The mistake appeared to have occurred after a mix-up by one cable company based in New Jersey which services the Boston area – and was reported on twitter by a user who saw it and took a screenshot.
According to UK’s The Independent, viewers tuning in to watch ‘Anthony Bourdain’s Parts Unknown’ around 10pm were shocked when their feed turned out to be a hardcore p*rn festival.
Twitter user @Solikearose, who lives in Boston, experienced the mishap and tweeted about it.
“Did anyone else with RCN in Boston see the hardcore porn that was broadcast by CNN by mistake?” she wrote.
“I can’t wait until [RCN] wakes up [tomorrow] & realizes that hardcore porn was broadcast on [CNN] instead of [Parts Unknown] tonight,”
The channel was taken off air soon after her tweet, although RCN insists they did not broadcast p*rn and no other user reported the issue.
“We have not had any reports of the programming issue you mentioned on CNN in Boston,” RCN wrote in a statement. “If you’re still having an issue with that channel, please DM us your address so we can troubleshoot when you’re home.””We have not had any reports of the programming issue you mentioned on CNN in Boston,” they wrote. “If you’re still having an issue with that channel, please DM us your address so we can troubleshoot when you’re home.”
“RCN serves nearly 300,000 subscribers in Boston, New York, Philadelphia, and Washington DC.” the Independent noted of the company. “Earlier this year, the service provider was acquired for $1.6 billion by the private investment firm TPG.”
