Many people have been wondering why Nkem Owoh aka Osuofia is on the campaign trail of Mahama. The comedian was seen with the president at the opening of Kwame Nkrumah Interchange and the Bukom Boxing Arena. He has also starred in a new commercial for Mahama, asking voters to maintain him.
Folks have been asking if he is doing this just because he is impressed with the government or he is campaigning  for the government because he has been asked to. And if the answer is the latter, then it is crystal clear he was given a humongous amount to endorse the president.
After letting the rumours slide, Osuofia has finally confirmed he came to Ghana to campaign for Mahama and his NDC government. Of course he is not a freaking idiot — he is not gonna admit it, but he said he was invited by the president through his friend Dele Momodu, to campaign for him.
“I’m in Ghana on the invitation of Prez Dramani Mahama through my good friend, Chief Dele Momodu,” he revealed in an interview with Joy News.
The reason I’m insisting he was bribed to campaign for JM is because, Osuofia will come to Ghana to endorse a party only if he has been given something heavy. And it is obvious Mahama is using tax payer’s money to bribe celebrities to campaign for him. How desperate!
