There is a civil war brewing within the ranks of Ghanaian musicians as current long serving MUSIGA President Obour comes under fire from some very prominent names for alleged corruption.
In a series of tweets Monday, D-Black and Shatta Wale took the fight to Obour, alleging corruption in the organisation supposed to take after the welfare of musicians.
According to their allegations, Obour is spending all the money of the organisation to look after himself and his cronies whilst musicians receive no benefits for their association with the body.
One tweet from a fan, which claimed that Obour is using MUSIGA’s money to ‘feed his stomach’ and he must thus be removed, was retweeted by Shatta. D-Black called for Obour’s ousting so the organisation can be run by business minded singers such as Shatta Wale, Edem, Hammer, Paedae etc.
