2. George Williams
Among the veteran Ghanaian actors, Mr. George Williams is popularly known as Mr. Addison, which is a name he took in one of Ghana’s popular television serious, “Ultimate Paradise” back in the early 90’s.
He was a prominent personality in the movie industry. He was instrumental in shaping most of our new generational actors and actresses.
He featured in many movies from the early 90’s through to the early 00’s. He went off our screens when producers and directors, started replacing quality with mediocre.
He went into teaching and directing thus starting and growing the Accra international film school, in Ghana.
Mr George Williams was best known for his roles in television series like,”Ultimate in Paradise” He has also starred in over 60 movies.
He was a strong pillar and voice in the infant movie industry we have now in Ghana. He advocated for many reforms and practices in the film enterprise in this country.
May his soul rest in peace. He graced our screens with that old age swag and American slang and flawless acting for many years. He was on a class of his own and none can fill the void his death will fill. Raise your glasses to Mr. George Williams.
