A honeymoon is the traditional holiday taken by newlyweds to celebrate their marriage in intimacy and seclusion. Today, most honeymoons are often celebrated in destinations considered exotic or romantic.
Going on a honeymoon is one of the most crucial components of all marriage because it gives the couples an opportunity to relax after the excitingly exhausting wedding ceremonies, to please each other physically and sexually, to celebrate the beginning of a journey together and to establish physical connection.
That is what I think most honeymoons are all about. It’s rather unfortunate that some people do not get the opportunity to go on a honeymoon; even if they get to go on one, it is most of the times not in the places they will have wished to go because they spent the huge part of their budget on the wedding ceremony and forgot about the honeymoon.
