A 28 year old taxi driver in Peru left an entire hospital in shock when he walked to the hospital with a knife stuck in his head.
Daily Mail full report:
“Doctors were baffled when a taxi driver strolled into hospital with a knife lodged in his head.
Clever Campos, 28, was attacked in Iquitos, northern Peru in a heated argument with another local.
After the attack he was seen wandering the streets in a daze with the blade sticking out of his head.
Locals called emergency services who rushed Mr Campos to Loreto Regional hospital.
Amazingly, he walked into the emergency room on his own two feet before nurses ushered him into a wheelchair.
He then underwent gruelling surgery at the intensive care unit which lasted for hours before the knife was finally removed.
Mr Campos remained conscious throughout the ordeal, shocking even the most hardened doctors.
Footage of his arrival at hospital shows him walking with a pained expression wearing a blood-soaked t shirt.
He was then wheeled straight into the operating theatre where doctors began their painstaking task.
Henry Saldana, 30, has been arrested after admitting to stabbing Mr Campos, claiming the victim stole his motorbike.”
