Former President John Agyekum Kuffour Debunks Rumours Of His Death

A vicious story circulating on social media over the past 24 hours claimed that former President John Agyekum Kuffour is dead, leading to a swift denial to emanate from his camp debunking the story.
The story claimed that Kuffour passed away in Johannesburg, South Africa, following a surgical operation.
But Frank Agyekum, spokesperson for the 78 year old, has denied the rumours of his death.
He said Kuffour is alive and well and is set to soon join the NPP campaign trail, so everyone should disregard the story.
Kuffour ruled Ghana between 2001 and 2009, winning two consecutive elections over John Evans Atta Mills. Mills defeated his successor as NPP flagbearer, Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo, to become President of Ghana in 2009.
