From how it stands, it looks like the president elect of the United States has set a pace for others envying the seat of the highest office in respective countries to follow.
If Trump could do it, why not us too is the new phrase we are living with.
Bright Okpocha, known in showbizness as Basket mouth has disclosed decision to run for the Nigerian presidency at the back of keeping to a promise he made concerning the outcome of the US elections.
In an Instagram post, he wrote:
“My Esteemed people, in fulfillment of my threat/promise regarding the outcome of the just concluded #uspresidentialelection I am announcing my candidacy for the Office of the President of our dear country in the 2019 general elections.”

And this is coming from a man who makes a living by cracking jokes, this may be one of his jokes— otherwise only time can tell.
