President John Dramani Mahama Congratulates US President-Elect Donald Trump

Donald Trump has won the US Presidential elections after a tight race, beating Hillary Clinton who has already conceded the race.
Trump picked up unexpected wins in multiple crucial swing states, including states that looked sewn up for Clinton before election day like Pennsylvania and Michigan, to win with 276 electoral votes, even though some states are still outstanding.
The unexpected victory has shaken up the United States and the world and Ghana’s President has wasted little time in congratulating Mr Trump.
“Congratulations, US President elect Donald Trump” – the President wrote on social media.
With the winds of change sweeping all over the US, it remains to be seen if the same would occur here in December’s polls, when the President goes toe to toe with opposition leader Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo.
