Aside he being infamously known for being a cyber- bully, Trump has for the umpteenth time proved that he is actually swims in delusion.
In a final speech at a rally in Florida on Monday, the hopeful POTUS on the ticket of Republican, Donald Trump took a swipe at the power couple, Jay Z and Beyonce.
The Billboard report Trump said:
“Beyonce and Jay Z, I like them, I like them,” Trump told onlookers in Raleigh, N.C. “And you know what they do? I get bigger crowds than they do. It’s true. I get far bigger crowds.”
It’s just not correct, notes PolitiFact. Not even close.
“Based on a sample of three Trump rallies (Oklahoma, Dallas and Mobile, Alabama), and taken on his own word, the presidential hopeful gathers an average crowd of 27,000.
“That’s a good draw,” notes the media organization. “But it’s not Jay Z/Beyonce level.”
The proof is in the data. Jay Z and Beyonce’s 2014 On The Run tour played 16 shows across North America and one in Paris, generating $100 million at the box office and reporting an average attendance of 45,700.
Need more evidence? Beyonce’s recently-completed Formation tour made $210 million, featured 49 sold-out shows across North America and Europe and drew an average crowd of more than 45,400.
“To fully vet this bizarre claim,” explains PolitiFact, “it’s worth noting that Trump’s rallies are free. Tickets to Beyonce in the swing state of Florida cost $40-$275 this year. Based on the latest Billboard numbers, Trump draws crowds similar to Phish.”
