1. Bus Stops
Ghanaians in general knows best that, to avoid a commercial bus (trotro) taking you beyond your destination or leaving you behind your destination, especially when you are new in the area, is to sometimes continually yell your bus stop.
Yet these stubborn bus conductors (trotro mates) will either tell you “I didn’t hear” or “we don’t stop here” or “because of the traffic, we ain’t going ahead again, so alight” when they take you beyond your bus stop or behind your bus stop.
To most passengers, the idea of walking back or ahead to reach your their destination is most annoying and awkward situation. There trotro mates whom I think take delight in annoying their passengers, because it never cease to occur.
