I bet you didn’t think the world’s longest rap would be this long! This guy kept on rapping and rapping for over a day.
Spanish rapper Arkano set the new record in Madrid’s central Puerta del Sol square, rapping from the afternoon on October 28 to just around the same time on the next day – for a total rap time of 24 Hours, 34 Minutes and 7 Seconds.
The feat was witnessed by thousands of onlookers in the square.
To break the record, one has to keep rapping songs continously for the entirety of the challenge, allowed only to take 3 second break between songs and to take in liquid refreshment when required.
The previous record was held by Los Angeles based rapper Murs, whose record of 24 Hours and 15 Minutes lasted for just two weeks before being broken by 22 year old Arkano – born Guillermo Rodríguez Godínez.
