Ghana’s globetrotting lawyer,actress and media personality,Sandra Ankobiah is urging Ghanaians to put the country forward in the upcoming December general polls.
Speaking to Naa Klordey Odonko on Ultimate FM’s Brunch and Lunch,she encouraged the youth to take active part in democratisation.
“Let’s vote peacefully, there is no point going out involving ourselves with electoral violence,… you will never see a politician’s wife or children out there fighting their battles,… a politician will not be at the front line of the battlefield.
They will be comfortable in their homes, you the supporter out there fighting, getting wounded and getting killed, you don’t love that politician more than their children or wives love them, there is no way you can love that politician more than his or her immediate family or extended family.
Let’s not allow ourselves to be used by politicians, let’s be wise, lets vote but do it peacefully, let’s be responsible citizens”.
