Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan has extended his congratulations to actress and entrepreuner Dentaa following her receipt of an MBE (Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (MBE).
Dentaa was announced as an honouree back in June when the list came out as part of the Queen’s birthday celebration – chosen for her efforts bolstering UK-African relations in the diaspora, via her work with GUBA, which she founded in 2009.
The actress, born Dentaa Amoateng, received the amazing honour during a ceremony held at Buckingham Palace Thursday.
Taking to social media, the Ghana captain praised Dentaa for the honour, writing that her award showed ‘hard work pays’.
