‘Dancehall king’ Shatta Wale has revealed the near astronomical price he charges per show and it’s enough to make your head spin 360 degrees.
Shatta spoke with EIB CEO Bola Ray on Starr Chat Wednesday and made numerous revelations about his life and career, including his charge per show.
According to the artiste, he charges at least Ghc 150,000 per show, and only gives discounts if the show is for students.
“…The least amount [I charge] is GHc 150, ooo. When it’s students I try to charge moderate, let’s say Ghc 60, oooo. ”
The dancehall king also waded into the biggest feud in Ghana music this year, the M.anifest Sarkodie feud – and he went with King Sark.
“Well, this is not hard for me to do. They are all good rappers, yh but I would go for Sarkodie. I write lyrics for Sarkodie, he’s my artist. I love Sarkodie and everyone knows.” he told Bola.
Shatta also revealed when and why he stopped smoking weed and why he remains a good Christian even though he has not stepped foot in church this year.
