Montie 3 alumni Salifu Maase. popularly known as Mugabe, is furious with the ruling NDC for neglecting him and his employers in the sharing of goodies this election cycle.
Mugabe, in a rant on his ‘Pampanso’ program on Montie Fm, revealed that the government is going around giving out vehicles to so-called ‘senior journalists’ and buying ads in their media houses to generate positive coverage, yet long time supporters like himself and Montie, Radio and Tv Gold are being left out in the sharing of resources.
Mugabe was one of the infamous Montie 3 who were jailed and later pardoned by the President, and is a vocal supporter of the NDC, but seems to be unhappy with how things are panning out since his return from prison.
“No radio adverts and no TV adverts for us.” he said, referring to the Radio Gold group.
“Keeping giving adverts to the senior journalists. Our families have been neglected since we came out of prison.
He warned that the party was spending all the money on media houses and journalists who keep insulting them but for those of them showing full support, nothing for them. He claimed that the NDC would lose the election if they continued on that path.
