Whatsapp, the facebook owned $19 billion app which has become the largest mobile messaging app is finally ready to support video calls.
Android Police has reported that the feature now works for some Android users, even without an update.
However, anyone on Android who wants to try the feature can simply install the latest beta (2.16.318), which is up on APK Mirror.
If you do so, you’ll notice a camera icon next to your contacts and will be able to place video calls provided the person you are calling has the feature too.
In May, a Whatsapp beta which had a video call was introduced but it was shortly pulled out–so hopefully, this new update has come to stay.
