Shatta Wale has received extrordinary praise from Citi Fm morning show host Bernard Avle, who was so impressed with Shatta after listening to his peace song that he launched into sustained praise of the ‘dancehall king’.
Avle played Shatta’s new peace song, ‘Nana Vs Mahama’ on his show Friday morning, and just could not help himself showering praise on Shatta.
“I just love Shatta Wale; he writes songs as if he’s eating Banku. Yes, I mean he writes songs so easily. Honestly, the guy is good, the way he churned out songs is impressive.” Avle said.
“Shatta Wale is strong on the grounds. He is not too dependent on mainstream media for his songs to get out there. We can all learn strong lessons from Shatta Wale in self-reinventing and resourcefulness.” he added.
