It was a day of reconciliation in Ghanaian music Monday, as the most loud mouthed artiste celebrated his birthday and through that, mended (however temporarily) fences with some of his most vocal ‘enemies’.
Samini and Criss Waddle are just a couple of Shatta ‘haters’ who sent him well wishes on his big day. Yet as the day wound into its last hour, it seemed like one person was never going to send their wishes – Stonebwoy.
The ‘dancehall warrior’ and the ‘dancehall king’ have held a long feud, recently exacerbated by Stonebwoy’s Coke Africa deal, which Shatta Wale implied he took for peanuts. Stonebwoy replied that Shatta should ‘shut up’.
Eventually, Stonebwoy relented and sent his, a few minutes into Tuesday. He even acknowledged he was a little late.
“Happy bday to my GUY!! @shattawalegh ??? Thought I missed it..been seeing posts from 3days Ago!! ENJOY ??” he wrote on twitter.

You just know he sat behind his phone for hours just looking for how to compose this message.
