The Ghana Integrity Initiative (GII) have released a report finding the NDC government guilty of abusing their incumbent status as the elections draw closer and parties get into winning mode.
The anti corruption agency looked into a usual worry among Ghanaians during an election year, whether the government is abusing state resources to gain an unfair advantage over their opponents, and they conclude the NDC is most likely doing so.
Several government officials, MP’s and even the First Lady have been involved in massive sharing of ‘goodies’ to the electorate, cloaked as philanthropic work but with the obvious advantage of earning people’s loyalty. Looking into numerous of such scenarios, the GII concludes the NDC are engaged in this.
