If it is a white wedding then it just has to come with the bride wearing one hell of layers of garment with “frills of an old-time princess”. That is the norm and any bride who dares go contrary piques a good amount of interest .
With fashion on the rise, coupled with the absurdities and its ridiculousness, trends are changing. Honestly we are just way too tired of all the extras that could cater for the dresses of dozen babies.
One Israeli designer Alon Livné White has broken the mental cliche by coming out with sheer bridal gowns and I love all the extra flesh I am seeing.
Alon sent a model down the runway in a bejeweled nude bodysuit and a wide-open hint of a skirt. She said :
“I wanted to make something that is very showstopper, very unique, but still feminine and soft,” Livné told Cosmopolitan.com of the dress, called “Heaven,” which he said would be sold with a more substantial overskirt. “For the dancing, she can take off the overskirt and be more sexy.”
“I think the days of the bride wearing her mother’s old wedding dress are over,” Kleinfeld Bridal fashion director Terry Hall told Stylecaster. “Brides really want their own red carpet moments.”
