A lot if things we do in this world I can say is money driven though we have been made to understand and accept that passion fuels our choices.
In the world of art, we have heard it far too many times when artistes come out to recite this very line— I am only doing it because of the passion and satisfaction and not necessarily the money they keep saying .
We cannot for a fact tell how true that infamous utterance is but we believe them anyways. One of the many who have found themselves repeating the cliche is our very own dancehall artiste Stonebwoy.
In a question and answer session on Twitter initiated by MTV Base West Africa ahead of the 2016 MTV MAMAs scheduled to take place in Johannesburg , South Africa, the fans wanted to know how much he charges for a feature.
And this is what the dancehall crooner had to say:
“Business must be taken care regardless but I don’t do features for the money. I do it for the song and I don’t care who the artist is whether blown or underground.”
Adding that should he not win his slot, he would Flava of Nigeria to win.
