Tight Security At EC Headquarters To Prevent Angry Presidential Aspirants From Storming The Place

Tight security have been installed at the offices of the Electoral Commission as disgruntled Presidential aspirants and their supporters besiege the premises to register their displeasure.
The Commission on Monday disqualified as many as twelve candidates from contesting December’s Presidential polls, including many big names such as Dr Nduom and Hassan Ayariga, and it has led to a lot of pissed off parties with a bone to pick with the EC.
Thus the police service dispatched units Tuesday to the EC’s headquarters, to maintain calm and keep the protests to a minimum.
So far, Akua Donkor, Dr Henry Lartey and RDP flagbearer Dr Kwabena Adjei have reportedly all appeared at the premises in different stages of anger, and supporters of Dr Nduom are also massing up at the place.
Hassan Ayariga of the APC, who was one of those disqualified yesterday, has already levelled abuses against the EC chair Charlotte Osei, calling her ‘foolish’ and ‘stupid’ and questioning her position.
