Founder and leader of the International Godsway Church (IGWC), Bishop Daniel Obinim, has thrown out a challenge to all Ghanaians doubting his claim to be an angel – petition the Lord Almighty himself.
Obinim and his cohorts maintain he is an angel, bestowed with powers from God to perform signs and wonders. His antics – such as stepping on a pregnant lady’s stomach, fondling a man’s penis and flogging people in church – have put him at odds with majority of the Christians in Ghana, who see him as a fraud and a charlatan.
Speaking to his congregation, the Bishop said he is at a higher level than any other man of God on this earth. Whilst others are pastors, bishop, and reverends, he is an ANGEL.
“I’m not a Pastor, Reverend minister, Prophet and Bishop, I’m above these titles. I was brought to help people, if you have faith come for my help. when my time is due I will go back.” he said.
“I don’t understand Ghanaians, if you need my help, come for it. God sent us from heaven to help his children. The work I do is not for a Pastor or any other men of God with titles.
“If you don’t believe what I say, petition God” he added. “And he will tell you who he has made me. I’m a human being like you but in the spiritual realm is different” the brash Bishop added.
It seems like a simple enough solution, Ghanaians. You’re always talking about God so much, let’s see you petition him much like the Montie 3 petitioned Mahama.
