When a Ghanaian  tells you “sankofa yen kyi” which literally means going back to something you left behind is no taboo and you dare not be surprised or argue with him or her.
Many a time, a blast from  the past send chills down our spines and the nostalgia penetrates into the soul, deep down in our spirits.
The imagination becomes so strong we dare to pull it to reality. Sometimes we admire the beauty of the past and reminisce the good old days but most times too we laugh at ourselves till tears walk down the joyful aisle of our cheeks.
A blast from the past tastes like the joy in our feet and the melody in our throats.
