Lady Gaga has announced that the 2017 Superbowl halftime show is going to be ‘Gaga’.
The singer has been selected to perform one of the most hyped and watched shows in US television, the Superbowl, when the winner of the American Football season is crowned.
Gaga announced the news with a post on twitter, following on the heels of her ‘Perfect Illusion’ single that has been widely acclaimed.

Coldplay, Beyonce and Bruno Mars played the halftime show for Superbowl 50 earlier this year, and Lady Gaga actually sang the national anthem at that show.
At next year’s, she gets to perform the half time show itself. Superbowl LI comes off at the NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas, on February 5 2017.
