Singer Choirmaster, former member of the hiplife singing group Praye, says he believes his former brothers endorsed the candidature of Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo because they wanted to make some dough.
Eugene Baah, then known as Praye Honeho but now simply ‘Choirmaster’, said on Gh One Thursday that election season such as this one is the right time for ‘celebrities to make some dough’.
That sort of implies Praye, and all the others endorsing candidates right now, are also making themselves some dough.
“For me, it’s just the right time for celebrities to make some dough.” he said.
He said as for himself, he has no plans to endorse any party – although he wouldn’t mind performing for any of them.
“I will stand for entertaining the choristers in every political party if I’m invited. It will take a lot for me to endorse.
“I believe I have choristers in all the political parties and when it comes to the choosing of a leader, I will leave it for the choristers to decide because they chose me as the choir master for GH.”
He added: “I’m not that political; I’m sort of a freedom fighter and I feel if there’s anything to endorse, I’ll endorse a peaceful, free and fair election,”
