The future is here. A Ghanaian couple who recently got married took the step of creating a website for their nuptials, complete with photos, videos, and a summarised version of their long history together leading up to the wedding.
The duo, Foster Akwesi Gyamera and Stephanie Maame Yaa Boatemaa Badu-Boateng, set up maamenakwesi.com to share the story of their lives, how they met and got together – as well as to document everything leading up to the big day.
The website is littered with photos of the pair, their engagement and wedding parties, as well as the invitation and how to get to the wedding – which took place a fortnight ago.
The site has pages such as ‘the couple’, ‘our journey’, ‘photos’ and ‘videos’ – with each containing tons of content uploaded by the pair.
Wedding websites are not exactly a novel idea globally, but they are virtually non-existent in Ghana. The ladies better not latch onto this and start worrying the guys to do it – weddings cost too damn much already!
THE WEBSITE
Def a great idea….but how can anyone have multiple grammatical errors on a website? Have they both read thru their website? Has any of their friends read thru the website?
Ei Grammar Fuo
