Black Stars midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah has picked (yet) another knee injury that is bound to keep him out of action for the next 45 days.
Asamoah has been bothered by his knee for much of the past three years, picking up injury after injury on the appendage that has kept him out of action for as much as one year at a time.
Playing for his club in Serie A against Palermo, the Ghanaian limped off with an injury. Tests later showed he’s suffered a complete tear of the medial meniscus ligament, which would keep him out for at least 45 days.
Kwadwo would undergo surgery to repair the tear, and could potentially be out longer depending on how the recovery goes.
Kwadwo has barely played for Ghana since the end of the 2014 world cup, with injuries curtailing his chances of a call-up every single time.
