Shatta Wale Says He Does Not Support A Party But Would Perform For Any So Long As He's Paid

Dancehall king Shatta Wale has been fighting off the NDC tag for the entirety of this election cycle, especially as his song ‘Mahama Paper’ has been unabashedly used by the ruling party during their events.
Wale has reiterated again and the again that he’s for no party. However, this time he adds a caveat – he is a businessman who does what has to be done to make money.
So any party that approaches him to work for them, he’s willing to talk business.
He wrote on social media Friday morning.

Am not into any political party but if any party calls me to come and perform i will because to perform is my job..Its business!!!! Dont play with your work…
Good morning SM empire ☝”

Shatta has always maintained that he’s only concentrated on his peace campaign and not petty politics. This makes it obvious that perhaps he’s already signed a deal with the NDC and this is just his way of preparing the waters for the announcement. Watch this space.
