President Mahama Has the Right to Share MONEY On Campaign Trail–Says Kofi Adams

Kofi Adams

The National Coordinator of the 2016 NDC Campaign, Kofi Adams has said there’s nothing wrong with President Mahama sharing money–just as ordinary Ghanaians have the right to do.
He told Kasapa Fm that, “The President is just like any other person and a Ghanaian so he’s free to give gifts to people. There is nothing wrong with him doling out money to people, if indeed he did that.”
He added: “Politics is limiting the pride in our culture as one people where one can easily attend to a brother’s need. This is part of our culture and we must not throw these things away because of politics.”
Kofi Adams’ comment comes after a video emerged online, showing President Mahama sort of distributing cash to traders during a recent campaign visit to Abossey Okai market in Accra.
